YDG Cohort VI – Quick FAQ
- How do I apply?
Begin by downloading and carefully reading the Application Manual and Instructions from the YDG website.
- Who can apply?
Ghanaian citizens aged 18- 35, proficient in English and at least one local language.
- Can non-Ghanaians apply?
Other African nationals residing in Ghana may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Interested applicants should contact applications@youngdiplomatsghana.org for guidance.
- When does the application open and close?
Monday, January 12 to Friday, January 30, 2026
- Is there an application fee and how do I confirm my payment?
Yes. A non-refundable GH¢ 250.00 application fee applies. After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email. Please forward this email to applications@youngdiplomatsghana.org for verification.
- What happens after my payment is verified?
Once your payment is verified, you will receive your Cohort VI Application Form and a unique application code within 24 hours.
- How will I receive updates about my application?
All official communication regarding your application will be via email. Applicants are advised to check their email regularly to avoid missing any updates.
- When should I expect feedback on my application?
Applicants can expect to receive feedback by the week of March 9.
- Who can I contact for assistance?
The application process is straightforward, and applicants are encouraged to carefully read and follow the instructions provided. Most questions are addressed in the Application Manual.
